Cache is the virtual dumping ground for the poor images we never knew existed. It’s a temporal archive to aid in the acceleration of digital technology’s economic agenda. A vacuous space containing the hidden trace of our digital journey. Waiting for cache... aims to restore some thingness to the images found within the cache using this prompt as a starting point. By fixing them to mutually forgotten materials such as lint, coins and socks from laundromats - creating a material dialogue between digital and physical archives.
